Serenity was a New Zealand-based collective active in the early 1970s, known for their sole album Piece of Mind, which became a cult favorite in the spiritual psychedelic folk circles. Released in 1972 in a private pressing of around 200-300 copies, the album remained largely ignored until its rediscovery in the 2000s by folk collectors and enthusiasts.

The album is infused with soft spirituality, poetry, and introspective themes, featuring a pastoral and acoustic sound that is characteristic of the Jesus People movement and Christian post-hippie folk. Serenity’s music blends nature, faith, and meditation, offering a bright and humanistic message. It has drawn comparisons to artists like Cat Stevens, Donovan, and early Emitt Rhodes.
