Strongbow - Strongbow (1975)

Strongbow started when Dave Smith met Bill Bendler when both were playing in the Rhodes Brothers touring band. David (drums) and Bill (vocals, trombone) wanted to play in a progressive hard rock band, so they left and got together withSandy Edelstine and Bud Fowler to form Axis. Later in 1972 "Buzz" Ashton replaces Edelstine on guitar, and Mike Haines returns on bass. The band resurrects the Strongbow name and plays a lot of gigs in Michigan. 

Strongbow a commencé quand Dave Smith a rencontré Bill Bendler alors que tous deux jouaient dans le groupe de tournée Rhodes Brothers. David (batterie) et Bill (chant, trombone) voulaient jouer dans un groupe de hard rock progressif, alors ils sont partis et se sont réunis avec Sandy Edelstine et Bud Fowler pour former l'Axe. Elliott Randall - Randall's Island (1970)

Elliott Randall is an American guitarist, best estimated for being a session musician with popular artists. Randall played the well-known guitar solos from Steely Dan's song "Reelin' in the Years" and Irene Cara's song "Fame". It was reported that Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page said Randall's solo on "Reelin' in the Years" is his favorite guitar solo of all-time.

Elliott Randall est un guitariste américain, estimé pour être un excellent musicien de session avec des artistes populaires. Randall a joué les solos de guitare bien connus de la chanson "Reelin 'in the Years" de Steely Dan et de "Fame" d'Irene Cara. 🎸 Armaggedon - Armaggedon (1970)

They aren't 1975 Keith Relf's Armageddon or 1969 Texas Armageddon or 1970 Dogfeet Armageddon they are from Germany and this is their debut and only LP.  This is an album of heavy psychedelic rock with a little prog rock influences. Leaded  by prolific guitarist Frank Diez, Berlin-based Armageddon played Anglo-American inspired rock . They made this sole album and then split up.

Ils ne sont pas l'Armageddon de Keith Relf en 1975 ou l'Armageddon du Texas en 1969 ou l'Armageddon de Dogfeet en 1970, ils sont d'Allemagne et c'est leur premier et seul LP. C'est un album de heavy rock psychédélique aux influences prog rock. Dirigé par le prolifique guitariste Frank Diez, Armageddon, basé à Berlin, a joué du rock d'inspiration anglo-américaine. Ils ont fait ce seul album, puis se sont séparés.

Leur premier album, Five-A-Side, paru en 1974, est porté par le tube planétaire "How Long", écrit et interprété par le claviériste-chanteur Paul Carrack. Home - Home (1972)

Home was formed by Cliff Williams and Laurie Wisefield in 1970 after their first group together, 'Sugar', split. They teamed up with guitarist and vocalist Mick Stubbs and drummer Mick Cook. They signed to CBS Records in 1971 and released their first album, Pause for a Hoarse Horse, in August. They started touring in November when they supported Led Zeppelin at the second Electric Magic Show at the Wembley Empire Pool. From then on, they opened for groups such as Argent, The Jeff Beck Group, and The Faces. In September of the same year, they went into the studio again to record the Home album.

Originaire de Virginie, le groupe Polyphony ne publia qu’un seul album : Without Introduction, en 1971. Cet ovni musical navigue entre rock progressif symphonique, jazz-rock et psychédélisme savant. Fortement influencé par Emerson, Lake & Palmer ou Yes, Polyphony intègre également une touche américaine propre, aux accents jazzy et bluesy, portée par l’orgue Hammond omniprésent et les envolées instrumentales ambitieuses. Peu diffusé à sa sortie, l’album a acquis au fil des décennies un statut culte auprès des amateurs de prog obscur et virtuose.
