Child is the ultra rare debut album by keyboard-heavy late 60's US acid rock band child. It includes a fierce lengthy version of Isaac Hayes' "Hold On, I'm Comin". Similar to Vanilla Fudge and on the heavier side of late 60s US rock.In August of 69, Bob Gryziek left the Buoys, and became Child's new bassist.

Carp - Carp (1970)

Carp is known not so much for its music as it is for being the launching pad for the career of fledglingactor Gary Busey. Singer/drummer Busey formed the group in the spring of 1966 with fellow Oklahoma State University students Ron Getman on guitar, John Crowder on bass, and Glen Mitchell on piano. After relocating to Los Angeles, Carp signed with Epic to record a self-titled 1969 album rooted equally in rock, blues, and country, and the band soon dissolved. 

While Getman, Crowder, and Mitchell continued collaborating as session musicians behind Loudon Wainwright III and Janis Ian, Busey pursued a career as an actor, although he continued playing drums under the alias Teddy Jack Eddy, backing artists including Kris Kristofferson and Leon Russell.

Carp est connu non pas pour sa musique, mais pour être le tremplin de la carrière de l'acteur Gary Busey. Le chanteur et batteur Busey a formé le groupe au printemps 1966 avec Ron Getman, étudiant à l'Oklahoma State University à la guitare, John Crowder à la basse et Glen Mitchell au piano. Crowfoot - Find The Sun (1971)

Crowfoot was an American band initially featuring Russell DaShiell on guitar and vocals, Doug Killmer on bass and vocals and Rick Jaeger on drums. The group originally formed in 1964 under the name 'The Beau Gentry' as a Melbourne, Florida-based high-school cover band. Eventually DaShiell began to write music and the band began to perform their own material. At that time the band also featured Lance Massey on guitar and vocals. In December 1968, DaShiell, Killmer and Jaegar decided to relocate to California in the hopes that exposure in the burgeoning San Francisco Bay area music scene would lead them to a recording contract. Lance Massey chose to leave the band at this time and settle in Wisconsin. The remaining band members renamed themselves Crowfoot.

Fronted by vocalist/harpist Sam Sampson, the group featured an astonishing three guitarists (even Steve Jolly), drummer Dave Charles and keyboardist Malcolm Morley. Their recorded output was limited to their self-titled debut album (1969) and the appropriately titled East 17 (1973). In 1970 they played the first Glastonbury Festival, after which Morley and Charles left to form Help Yourself and Steve Jolly to join Procol Harum offshoot Freedom. 

Mené par le chanteur / harpiste Sam Sampson, le groupe comptait trois étonnants guitaristes (Steve Jolly), le batteur Dave Charles et le claviériste Malcolm Morley. Leur production enregistrée a été limitée à leur premier album éponyme (1969) et le bien intitulé East 17 (1973). En 1970, ils ont joué le premier Festival de Glastonbury, après quoi Morley et Charles sont partis pour former Help Yourself et Steve Jolly pour rejoindre Freedom, tiré de Procol Harum.

During the period of 1972, Ticket were New Zealand's ultimate acid band.Guitarist Eddie Hansen emerged on the music scene in a group called Revival, which also contained vocalist Craig Scott. When Craig went solo in April 1970, the Revival broke up. At that point Eddie left Christchurch and headed to Auckland. He accepted a gig with Challenge, who were in their last days, after having had a couple of successful hits. He quickly realised that he shared a common interest in the styles of music of the likes of Crazy Horse, Traffic and Jimi Hendrix, with Challenge drummer Ricky Ball. The two of them decided to form their own group, in order to be able to play their preferred style of music.

Au cours de la période de 1972, Ticket était l'ultime groupe d'acid rock néo-zélandais. Le guitariste Eddie Hansen a émergé sur la scène musicale dans un groupe appelé Revival, qui comprenait également le chanteur Craig Scott. Rare Bird was an early British prog rock band. The band formed in October 1969, and got their debut album out the following month, which is really quite an accomplishment, since it usually takes a band a year or more after their formation to get an album out, not to mention it usually takes two or three months to get the album out after the band records it. This was the very first album ever released on Charisma, the same label that gave us Genesis, Van der Graaf Generator/Peter Hammill, Lindisfarne, Capability Brown, and even Monty Python. Rare Bird was an odd band, for they had two keyboardists (David Kaffinetti on electric piano, Graham Field on organ), as well as bassist (Steve Gould, who also handled vocals), and drummer (Mark Ashton), but no one on guitar.
