🇫🇷 Biographie

Truth, groupe britannique éphémère formé autour de Frank Aiello et Steve Jameson, livre avec Of Them and Other Talesun album resté longtemps inédit avant d’être exhumé par les passionnés de rock psychédélique. Initialement destiné à succéder aux Them de Van Morrison (d’où le titre), ce disque mélange rock bluesy, soul blanche et envolées psychédéliques typiques de la fin des sixties. Malgré sa production soignée, l’album ne verra pas le jour à l’époque, victime de problèmes contractuels. Sa redécouverte tardive le classe parmi les perles oubliées de 1969.

Un croisement entre Stephen Stills, Clear Light, Country Joe, Gene Clark, Grateful Dead et Hendrix. Truth délivre avec un folk-psych rock de grande qualité qui rivalise avec beaucoup d'autres formations de la fin des sixties. Beaucoup des inédits des années 60-70 choses qui ont finalement paru ont pu se révéler décevants et ainsi montrer pourquoi ils n'avaient pas été édités en premier lieu, mais ce Of Them and Other Tales est l'antithèse parfaite de cet a priori cynique.

Truth, a short-lived British act fronted by Frank Aiello and Steve Jameson, recorded Of Them and Other Tales in 1969 with the intention of following in the footsteps of Them. The album, shelved for decades due to label complications, finally surfaced years later to critical praise from psych rock aficionados. It’s a heady brew of soulful vocals, bluesy guitar riffs, and moody, late-'60s psych vibes—elegant and evocative, a true “lost” classic of the era.

A cross between Stephen Stills, Clear Light, Country Joe, Gene Clark, Hendrix and the Grateful Dead. Truth delivers with a folk-psych rock quality that rivals many other formations of the late sixties. Many unpublished 60-70 years things have finally released could prove disappointing and thus show why they had not been published first, but Of Them and Other Tales is the antithesis of this a priori cynical.

Formé en 1967 à New York, Vanilla Fudge est considéré comme l’un des pionniers du heavy psychédélique et du proto-prog. Supersonic Blues Machinist is an American trio of musicians from the southern rock scene. In 2012, the Texas singer guitarist Lance Lopez is recording an album in LA. The producer Fabrizio Grossi suggested he take the opportunity to work on some ideas. Two days later, they passed the studio will give birth to three pieces that will form the foundation for an exciting new project! During his prolific career as a producer or bassist, Fabrizio worked with the cream of musicians: Steve Vai to Nina Hagen, Alice Cooper Glenn Hughes, Dave Navarro, George Clinton, Joe Bonamassa, Leslie West, Ice T, Slash. The last link to join the family, was the legendary drummer Kenny Aronoff Fabrizio presented by Steve Lukather their mutual friend. The fame of employees reflects the quality of the adventure Supersonic Blues Machine: Billy F. Gibbons, Walter Trout, Warren Haynes, Robben Ford, Eric Gales and Chris Duarte are all closely related to one or more members of the core trio. The idea was to involve close friends to drive to recreate that special and authentic relationship.
