Downchild doesn't play loud but it does play real, and word about the band reached out to a steadily growing and passionately devoted following. And today the band, getting tighter by the gig, works a steady round of bar dates and concerts that are the last word in frantic informality. Sounds authentic? Sure does; and so was the making of this record.
Downchild ne joue pas fort, mais il joue juste, et cette vertu leur a fait bénéficier d'un nombre croissant de fidèles et de passionnés. Et aujourd'hui, le groupe, de plus en plus dirigé vers le concert, multiplie les gigs dans les bars et les concerts, ce qui indique leur informalité effrénée. Cela semble authentique? Sans aucun doute et c'est bien là la qualité essentielle de ce disque.
