Finchley Boys - Everlasting Tributes (1972)

Acid-fried blues rock was where Finchley Boys were at, and their affection and aptitude for the music resonates loud and clear amid the album. Gutted with bone-crushing guitar leads, bristling with venom, "Everlasting Tributes" indicates the band spent a lot of time spinning sides by the Yardbirds, while casting a further ear towards the progressively heavy sounds of bands such as the Litter, Iron Butterfly, and Steppenwolf.

Rhinoceros - Satin Chickens (1969)

Rhinoceros was on a slippery slope; but with their brilliance still intact... In early 1969, the band returned from New York to Elektra's LA. studio. The result was, in many ways, the final 'real' Rhinoceros album, Satin Chickens. Despite the excellent finished product, lead singer John Finley revealed the album was quite different from the original concept as devised by Rothchild. "It was going to be an album of singles," says Finley. 

Rhinocéros était sur une pente glissante; mais avec leur éclat encore intact ... Au début de 1969, le groupe est revenu de New York à LA pour enregistrer à Elektra Studios. Le résultat a été, à bien des égards, le «vrai» album final de Rhinoceros, Satin Chickens. Malgré l'excellent produit fini, le chanteur John Finley a révélé que l'album était très différent du concept original imaginé par Rothchild. «C'est devenu un album de singles», explique Finley.
