Audience is a British art rock band formed in 1969, best known for its innovative blend of progressive rock, jazz, and classical influences. Their third album, The House on the Hill, released in May 1971, is often regarded as their most accomplished work. Produced by Gus Dudgeon and arranged by Robert Kirby, the record features intricate compositions and refined arrangements. The single “Indian Summer” peaked at number 74 on the US Billboard Hot 100.
