Big Big Train - The Underfall Yard (2009)



Imagine if the Genesis line-up of '76 had remained intact and continued to make progressive style rock. Yes, the singer is very reminiscent of Phil Collins. These pieces are lavishly produced and performed pop-prog. The songs don't follow traditional pop convention, but neither are they contrived, overtly dramatic epics, just masterfully written songs.

Imaginez si le line-up de la Genesis de 76 est resté intact et a continué à faire du rock progressif. Oui, le chanteur rappelle beaucoup Phil Collins. Ces pièces sont généreusement produites et exécutées pop-prog. Les chansons ne suivent pas la convention pop traditionnelle, mais elles ne sont pas non plus artificielles, épiques ouvertement dramatiques, juste des chansons magistralement écrites.
