The Rythm Dukes - Flashback (1970)

The Rhythm Dukes was a short-lived band featuring Jerry Miller and Don Stevenson of Moby Grape, subsequently joined by Bill Champlin, of the Sons of Champlin, and later of Chicago. The album is entitled "FlashBack" and highly recommended as it not only includes members of Moby Grape and The Sons of Champlin but some cool West Coast musicians as well.

Fine Wine - Fine Wine (1976)

Fine Wine is an album released in 1976 by Polydor Records in Germany, by a group of the same name. The four-person group included two members of Moby Grape, Jerry Miller and Bob Mosley, who also wrote or co-wrote most of the songs on the album. For these reasons, the album is often regarded as a Moby Grape album.

Fine Wine est un album sorti en 1976 par Polydor Records en Allemagne, par le groupe du même nom. Le groupe de quatre personnes comprenait deux membres de Moby Grape, Jerry Miller et Bob Mosley, qui ont également écrit ou co-écrit la plupart des chansons de l'album. Pour ces raisons, l'album est souvent considéré comme un album de Moby Grape.

Bamboo - Bamboo (1968)

"Bamboo" was recorded in stereo on Elektra Records by Dave Ray, Will Donicht and Daniel Lee Hall (not on cover) in a rare and unique LP. Red Rhodes was on steel guitar.

Their very innovative sound melted country rock and the honeyed pop that characterizes the late 60s.

Leur son très innovant mêlait le country rock et la pop mielleuse qui caractérise la fin des années 60.

McPhee - McPhee (1971)

McPhee were an Australian psychedelic rock band who released this one LP in their active period. The album includes five cover songs (a wonderful Neil Young's Southern Man) and two original compositions by the band. It's needless to say that they shouldn't have included that many covers in here. Apparently they didn't have enough original material or they just simply wanted to make an album filled almost totally with covers. 

Their sound is somewhere between Spooky Tooth for musicality and Jefferson Arplane for singing.

McPhee était un groupe de rock psychédélique australien qui a sorti ce LP dans sa période active. L'album comprend cinq reprises (dont un magnifiqueSouthern Man de Neil Young) et deux compositions originales du groupe. Il est inutile de dire qu'ils n'auraient pas dû inclure autant de reprises ici. Apparemment, ils n'avaient pas assez de matériel original ou bien ils voulaient simplement faire un album rempli presque totalement de reprises.

Leur son se situe quelque part entre Spooky Tooth pour la musicalité et Jefferson Arplane pour le chant.

Moxy is a Canadian hard rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario, in 1974, with members of the band Leigh Ashford, including singer Douglas "Buzz" Shearman (former Peabody & Sherman singer), Earl Johnson of Outlaw Music, Greg Godovitz of Goddo and Gil Moore of Triumph. While recording this album also known as "Black Album", the session guitarist Tommy Bolin was in the recording studio next door. Bolin was so impressed by this rock band in the good sense of the word that when Moxy's manager Roland Paquin asked him to play in Earl Johnson's place, he agreed.

Gamma - Gamma 1 (1979)

The original lineup of Ronnie Montrose (guitars), Davey Pattison (vocals), Alan Fitzgerald (bass), Jim Alcivar (keyboards) and Skip Gillette (drums) recorded this album. Guitarist Montrose, bassist Fitzgerald and keyboardist Alcivar had all been members of the band Montrose. After years of success, like many bands, Gamma's members went their separate ways and in 1986 Davey was approached by his old friend Robin Trower who asked him to perform on his forthcoming album "Passion".

La formation originale composée de Ronnie Montrose (guitares), Davey Pattison (chant), Alan Fitzgerald (basse), Jim Alcivar (claviers) et Skip Gillette (batterie) a enregistré cet album. Le guitariste Montrose, le bassiste Fitzgerald et le claviériste Alcivar étaient tous membres du groupe Montrose. Après des années de succès, comme beaucoup de groupes, les membres de Gamma se séparèrent et en 1986 Davey fut approché par son vieil ami Robin Trower qui lui demanda de jouer sur son prochain album "Passion".

Finally in lights after 46 years. Cette perle is in Humble Pie vein - excellent guitar/organ sound. Another great lost classic from USA. Collectors can take note. We were having such a wonderful time in those days of 1971.

Unfortunately nothing about the composition of this forgotten band .

Enfin au grand jour après 46 ans. Cette véritable perle est dans la veine Humble Pie - un excellent son pour guitare et orgue. Un autre classique perdu des Etats-Unis. Les collectionneurs peuvent prendre note. Nous passions vraiment un moment merveilleux en ces jours de 1971...

Malheureusement rien toutefois sur la composition de ce groupe oublié.
