Flash and the Pan is an Australian band founded in the late 1970s by two former Easybeats members: Harry Vanda and George Young. The latter, being the elder brother of Angus and Malcolm Young (AC / DC group), produced some of their albums.

Sniff 'n' the Tears - Fickle Heart (1978)

The British band Sniff 'n' the Tears' 1978 debut, Fickle Heart, is best known for containing the relentlessly catchy rocker "Driver's Seat," which became a hit in 1979 and is simply one of the greatest "one-hit wonder" singles of that decade, and arguably of all time.

 released a single disc in 1972 among those who became the rarest of German rock. Their album "Reflection on the future" was recorded in the fall of 1971 and is adorned with a beautiful opening pouch inspired by Arcimboldo's works.

Bloodrock was a band that managed to leave behind six very remarkable albums,  in a period of only six years. Their sound was sufficiently heavy and rough for their era but despite the good quality they never made it big. They opened a few shows of Black Sabbath in the U.S.A. and participated in some major festivals.

Bloodrock 2 is the second album by the Texas hard rock band Bloodrock, released on Capitol Records in October 1970. Well, Rutledge is now concentrating on the vocals and leaving his duties as the drummer, which is a bit of a bummer. The newer drummer is good, but lacked the attack and inventiveness behind the originality of the band.

Bloodrock - Bloodrock (1970)

Bloodrock was formed in 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas. It had considerable success in the 1970s, and was considered one of the oldest of a number of important groups to come out of Fort Worth clubs and the music scene from its early to mid-century neighborhoods. 1970s. They were influenced by contemporary musicians such as Grand Funk Railroad, Black Sabbath, or other Deep Purple. In their early days, the band opened several times for Jimi Hendrix. They played in front of their biggest audience, a crowd of 350,000 people, at the Atlanta Pop Festival with Hendrix in the lead.

Le groupe Bloodrock a été formé en 1969 à Fort Worth, au Texas.  Il a eu un succès considérable dans les années 1970, et il fut considéré comme l'un des plus anciens d'un certain nombre de groupes importants à sortir des clubs de Fort Worth et de la scène musicale du début au milieu des années 1970. 707 - 707 (1980)

The band 707 formed in Detroit; original members included Phil Bryant (bass, vocals), Jim McClarty (drums), Duke McFadden (keyboards, vocals), Kevin Russell (guitars, vocals), and David Carr (piano), although the lineup changed with each album. After signing to Casablanca, the band released its self-titled debut and had a modest radio hit with "I Could Be Good for You," written by McFadden and McCarty. The Second Album (1981) and Megaforce (1982) followed, but 707 never followed up its signature success.

Le groupe 707 s'est formé à Detroit avec Phil Bryant (basse, chant), Jim McClarty (batterie), Duke McFadden (claviers, voix), Kevin Russell (guitares, chant) et David Carr (piano), bien que la programmation change à chaque album. Patty Smyth (born June 26, 1957) is an American rock and roll musician. She first enjoyed mainstream success in 1982 as lead singer of the band Scandal and later scored a solo #2 hit with her song "Sometimes Love Just Ain't Enough". She is currently married to tennis star John McEnroe. Never Enough is the debut album by former Scandal frontwoman (and a singer-songwriter in her own right) Patty Smyth. It was released in 1987 on Columbia Records (also the group's label) three years after the band's breakup in 1984.

Avion were an Australian 1980s pop rock band formed in 1981, originally named Lionheart. In 1983 the band would release its first album on 1983 and despite great songs, top notch production and radio friendly image and music, the album just didn’t go anywhere. There are so many great songs here produced well it becomes another one of those great frustrations in the music world.

Face To Face - Face To Face (1984)

Face to Face was a new wave quintet from Boston, Massachusetts. Guitarist Stuart Kimball formed the band in New Hampshire during the late '70s with a close group of friends. In the 1984 movie Streets of Fire, the fictional band Ellen Aim and The Attackers, supposedly headed by Diane Lane, actually consisted of the male members of Face to Face.

This top-class rock group emerged from North Carolina, USA. The band were formed in 1981 by vocalist Tim Clark and guitarist Jerry West. Recruiting Rick Lee (keyboards), Robbie Hegler (bass) and Lynn Samples (drums), they drew inspiration from the popular rock artists of the day (Journey, Styx and Kansas). They made a significant breakthrough with Fortune, a highly melodic album swathed in keyboards and silky-smooth vocal harmonies.The band had a road crew that was almost as famous as the band.

Skip Battin joined the Byrds in 1970. He participated in the recording of albums (Untitled) (1970), Byrdmaniax (1971) and Farther Along (1972), for which he co-wrote some songs with Kim Fowley. The band broke up in 1973. Battin recorded a solo album (Skip, 1973) before joining the New Riders of the Purple Sage. He appears on their albums Brujo (1974), Oh, What a Mighty Time (1975) and New Riders (1976).

Skip Battin rejoint les Byrds en 1970. J D Blackfoot - The Ultimate Prophecy (1970)

J.D. Blackfoot's first LP -- recorded when future Pure Prairie League member Craig Fuller was in the band -- was a curious affair that very much reflected prevalent trends in the world of  rock in 1970. The songs were diverse enough that they sounded as if they could have been the work of several bands, or if they were the imitation of more famous bands.

Craig Fuller Eric Kaz - Craig Fuller Eric Kaz (1978)

Craig Fuller and Eric Kaz had already teamed up in American Flyer (along with Blood, Sweat & Tears Steve Katz and the Velvet Underground s Doug Yule) before they collaborated on this 1978 album, but their pedigrees went way farther back than that band. Fuller made his debut with J.D. Blackfoot in 1970 and co-founded Pure Prairie League (for whom he wrote Amie), while Kaz had cut his teeth with Children of Paradise (along with Happy and Artie Traum) before joining Blues Magooes for two records. With a track record like that, it s no surprise that this record sported the crème de la crème of supporting musicians: J.D. Souther, Russ & Leah Kunkel, Leland Sklar, Michael McDonald, Leo Sayer.
