Otherheast Ohio USA, is a place where the waves of media influence from the east and the west coasts seem to come crashing in and collide, the result being a splashing forth of some unique talent individuals. It was there, in 1969 midway between the towns of Warren and Cortland, that five determined young musicians, Ray Escott - Lead Vocals, LJ Fortier - Drums, John Harrow - Lead Guitar, Vocals, "Buster" McCarthy - Bass, Vocals, and Kurt Sunderman - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, started getting together in the damp basement of LJ's parents home on Sunday mornings in aa effort to try to carry on with their dreams of being in a successful Rock band. Unfortunately they failed.

Otherheast Ohio USA, est un endroit où les vagues d'influence médiatique des côtes est et ouest semblent s'écraser et entrer en collision, le résultat étant une éclaboussure de quelques talents uniques. C'est là, en 1969, à mi-chemin entre les villes de Warren et Cortland, que cinq jeunes musiciens déterminés, Ray Escott - Lead Vocals, LJ Fortier - Batterie, John Harrow - Lead Guitar, Chant, "Buster" McCarthy - Basse, Chant, et Kurt Sunderman - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals, a commencé à se réunir dans le sous-sol humide de la maison des parents de LJ le dimanche matin dans un effort d'essayer de poursuivre leurs rêves d'être dans un groupe de rock à succès. Horse - For Twisted Minds Only (1971)

Horse were a legendary hard rock band from England, with a growly charismatic lead singer, and a ripping guitarist who was one of the first to play in a metal riffing style. They purposely eschewed the blues, to try for something more aggressive and different. The album begins with “The Sacrifice” which sounds heavily influenced by Jimi Hendrix in the best way – guitars just keep weeping and weaving ornaments. “See the People Creeping Round” is a bit more airy but somewhere in the middle the rhythm is broken and the elaborate tune becomes heavily psychedelic. 

Horse était un groupe de hard rock légendaire d'Angleterre, avec un chanteur charismatique et un guitariste déchirant qui fut l'un des premiers à jouer dans un style riff. Ils ont délibérément évité le blues, pour essayer quelque chose de plus agressif et différent. L'album commence avec "The Sacrifice" qui semble fortement influencé par Jimi Hendrix de la meilleure façon - les guitares ne cessent de pleurer et de tisser des ornements. "See the People Creeping Round" est un peu plus aéré mais quelque part au milieu le rythme est brisé et la sonorité devient fortement psychédélique.
