Welcome to the world of Riot Horse - one complete brand new retro formation with well known musicians! In 2006 the danish/swedish heavy band Sons Of Tomorrow deicided to take a long time break. And the Swedish guitarist Neil Schuttman had an objective for many years : To set up a new heavyrock band with a more class. So he did it, logically.

With Mother Road, name borrowed from the old route 66, we discover a formation formed in 2012 but with two old veteran at the controls, the ex MSG, Keith Slack, with the song and the ex Soul Doctor, Chris Lyne, at the guitar. Accompanied by confirmed musicians they rock us with "Drive" their very first album which plunges us completely into the sound of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, the Black Crowes and . Mother Road does not invent anything but master the codes and the genre. Between blues, hard rock and classic rock, "Drive" takes us on an intense and brilliant musical journey.

Avec Mother Road, nom emprunté à l'ancienne route 66, nous découvrons une formation formée en 2012 mais avec deux vieux briscard aux commandes, l'ex MSG, Keith Slack, au chant et l'ex Soul Doctor, Chris Lyne, à la guitare. Hard Rock band Orange Wedge's first album, was originally released in 1972 in Baltimore, Maryland. Orange Wedge's debut album was a great display of raw blues driven hard rock. Not really interested in widespread recognition, the band became very popular on college campuses and youth clubs.

Joe Bonamassa - Blues of Desperation (2016)

More of a blues-rock album than a blues album, Joe Bonamassa continues to explore ways to depart from the standard blues format. His best songs are those which go back and forth between lyrical passages and guitar pyrotechnics, although the production often fails to keep both parts at the same volume level, making it hard to hear some of the lyrics without upping the volume during those passages. And when that's the worst thing one can say about a whole album of songs, you shouldn't worry much about its overall value. 

Plus d'un album de blues-rock qu'un album de blues, Joe Bonamassa continue d'explorer des façons de s'écarter du format blues standard. Ses meilleures chansons sont celles qui vont et viennent entre les passages lyriques et les guitares pyrotechniques, bien que la production échoue souvent à garder les deux parties au même niveau de volume, ce qui rend difficile d'entendre certaines paroles sans augmenter le volume pendant ces passages. Et quand c'est la pire chose qu'on puisse dire de tout un album de chansons, vous ne devriez pas vous soucier de sa valeur globale.

This is one of the better UK blues-based rock LPs of the late 60s Originally released in 1969 and produced by Alan Clark, famous for producing The Moody Blues' concept albums and King Crimson. For some unknwn reason its proposed release on CBS was cancelled. Though they were contemporaries of Fleetwood Mac, Chicken Shack, Savoy Brown and others UK blues bands widely released in the United Kningdom, this youthful British blues-rock quartet’s album only saw release in America and Holland unfairly dooming it to obscurity.

DeWolff - Strange Fruits and Undiscovered Plants (2015)

DeWolff is a young southern psychedelic rock band from the south of the Netherlands, formed in 2007 by brothers Pablo and Luka van de Poel and Robin Piso. Released in 2009, this is their second album. It's so reminiscent of music from the late '60s to the early' 70s, Haight-Ashbury. With elegance, without ever resorting to strong effects, the brothers van de Poel and Robin Piso release their generous sap that spreads along a soft base Hammond antediluvian organ that would not have denied Jon Lord. The guitar duels / keyboards in which our young fellows are launched confirm the influence of the English dinosaur.

DeWolff est un jeune groupe de rock sudiste psychédélique du sud des Pays-Bas, formé en 2007 par les frères Pablo et Luka van de Poel et Robin Piso. Sorti en 2009, c'est leur deuxième album. The Elastic Band were a Welsh band, formed in North Wales in the 1960s. They were one of the exponents of the UK psychedelic rock scene from the late 1960s and featured Andy Scott who would go on to become guitarist with Sweet. Other members were August Eadon (Gus) who went by the name Ted Yeadon when he was a member of Elastic Band, Sean Jenkins (drums) and Mike Scott (bass - Andy's brother). The band broke up in 1970 when Yeadon accepted an offer to join Love Affair.

The Elastic Band était un groupe gallois, formé au nord du Pays de Galles dans les années 1960. Ils étaient l'un des représentants de la scène rock psychédélique britannique de la fin des années 1960 et mettaient en vedette Andy Scott qui allait devenir guitariste avec Sweet. Avant d'éclater et de devenir un monstre du genre en 1974 avec l'album "Phenomenon", UFO, qui s'est formé en Aout 1969, a proposé deux albums plus méconnus voire même carrément oubliés par une grande partie du public. "UFO 1" voit le jour en Octobre 1970. Au niveau du line-up, on retrouve déjà Phil Mogg au chant, Pete Way à la basse, Andy Parker à la batterie, les trois étant accompagnés par Mick Bolton à la guitare. Musicalement, il faut oublier tout ce que l'on connait du UFO classique pour bien appréhender la musique ici présentée, mélange de rock typé années 60, de boogie-rock et de rock spatial psychédélique. De plus comme pas mal de formations à cette époque, UFO propose des reprises (trois au total) au programme de cet album qui fleure bon l'esprit flower power des années 60.
