Un excellent début solo de John Hall - un artiste ayant des racines dans la scène folk de New York, et qui connaîtra plus tard la gloire en tant que membre d'Orléans - dans un engagement très personnel sur cette production des années 70! Le groupe sur le disque comprend des parties d'harmonica de John Sebastian - et d'une certaine manière, l'album est un peu comme certains de ses propres disques après avoir quitté Lovin Spoonful - un matériau plus personnel et terre à terre, mais assemblé avec un son très fort globalement.

Sorti en 1979, Action est un album solo de John Hall, ancien membre du groupe Orleans. Ce disque présente un mélange de rock classique et de soft rock typique de la fin des années 70, avec des mélodies accrocheuses et des arrangements soignés. A great early solo effort from John Hall – an artist with roots in the New York folk scene, and later fame as a member of Orleans – but very much his own person on this early 70s set! The group on the record features some harmonica from John Sebastian – and in a way, the album’s a bit like some of his own records after leaving Lovin Spoonful – material that’s maybe more personal and down to earth, but put together with a very strong sound overall.

Released in 1979, Action is a solo album by John Hall, former member of Orleans. The record features a blend of classic and soft rock typical of the late ’70s, with catchy melodies and polished arrangements. John Hall showcases his skills as a songwriter and guitarist, supported by seasoned musicians, resulting in a balanced mix of energy and finesse.

The Dog That Bit People - The Dog That Bit People (1971)

Issued by Parlophone in 1971, it was the only album by the group that had evolved from the ashes of legendary band Locomotive by Bass player Mick Hincks and drummer Bob Lamb. Joined by keyboard player Keith Millar and guitarist John Caswell, the group recorded this album for EMI Records in 1970.
