Deuxième et dernier album studio du groupe Manassas, Down the Road paraît en avril 1973. Après le succès critique du double album Manassas (1972), Stephen Stills et ses acolytes remettent le couvert avec un disque plus court, plus resserré mais aussi plus inégal. Si l'album conserve l’approche éclectique – country, rock, blues, folk, rhythm & blues latino – il souffre de tensions internes et d’une production moins inspirée. Pourtant, plusieurs morceaux témoignent encore du talent brut du groupe : “Isn’t It About Time”, “Do You Remember the Americans” ou le bluesy “Business on the Street”. Nevertheless, the record retains the band’s stylistic range—country, blues, Latin grooves, and rock—with standout tracks like “Isn’t It About Time” and “Do You Remember the Americans.” Tensions within the band and a sense of fatigue may have dimmed its impact, but Down the Road remains a worthy—if underappreciated—coda to a unique project in Stills’ career.

Cory Wells (born Emil Lewandowski on 5 February 1942, Buffalo, New York) is an American singer, best known as one of the three lead vocalists in the band Three Dog Night.Cory Wells came from a musical family and began playing in Buffalo-area bands in his teens. His father died when Cory was a small child, leaving his mother to struggle financially until she eventually remarried. She gave Cory her maiden last name so not to implicate his natural father, although Cory did eventually change his last name to Wells (which is a shortened version of his birth father’s last name, Wellsley).

A Light Within, Bruce's first album, was released in 1977. This project contained many songs that were recorded by other artists. He was soon signed by Word Records. In 1981 Word released Bruce's second album on the Myrrh label, Never Turnin' Back.

Geyster - I Love 1984 (2004)

Geyster was originally a duet formed by Gaël Benyamin and Pernilla Grönlund in 1999. Their first cooperation came in 1998 when they both participated in the MI (Musicians Institute) music school in Los Angeles. Gaël is the lead- singer-songwriter / arranger / producer / multi-instrumentalist and also take care of all the technical stuff (mixing, mastering ...). His songs may sound soft rock and are built with jazz-influenced chords. With a great feeling in the rhythm, the melody is always predominant. Gael knows how to combine the music of the 70's with the sound of today in a unique style. Often labeled as 'Westcoast Music'; Geyster's music is mostly pure pop-music with a wide range of influences, and the mix is always subtle and very pleasant to our ears.

Geyster est à l'origine un duo formé par Gaël Benyamin et Pernilla Grönlund en 1999. Leur première coopération est survenue en 1998 quand ils ont tous deux participé à la MI (Musicians Institute) école de musique à Los Angeles.Gaël  est le lead-chanteur-compositeur / arrangeur / producteur / multi-instrumentiste et prend également soin de tous les trucs techniques (mixage, mastering ...). Ses chansons peuvent sembler soft rock et sont construites avec des accords influencés jazz. Avec une sensation géniale dans le rythme, la mélodie est toujours prédominante. Gaêl  sait comment combiner la musique des 70's avec le son d'aujourd'hui dans un style unique. Andrew Lewis Taylor is a British multi-instrumentalist musician, born in London, UK, in the late 1960s. He started in the music business touring with the progrock band Edgar Broughton Band. In 1986 he began performing as Sheriff Jack, releasing two albums of psychedelia music, Laugh Yourself Awake (1986) and What Lovely Melodies! (1987). As Lewis Taylor, he released his first self-titled album in 1996.

Singer, songwriter, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, engineer, director, producer ... Gaël Benyamin wears at least twelve hats at a time, like Stevie Wonder, Stevie Winwood or Prince. Alone in his kitchen, Geyster managed all that Steely Dan put two years to make in the studio: an ideal of pop and sunny sound. Vive la France !

High Treason est un obscur groupe américain de la côte Est, actif à la fin des années 60. High Treason was an obscure American band from the East Coast, active in the late 1960s. Their sole, self-titled album released in 1969 on United Artists blends psychedelic rock with blues and folk elements, reminiscent of bands like Quicksilver Messenger Service or Moby Grape. Featuring subtle baroque arrangements, shimmering guitar lines, and rich vocal harmonies, High Treason offers a mellow, melodic, and carefully constructed psychedelic journey. Southern Pacific was an American country rock band that existed from 1983 to 1991. They are best known for hits such as "Any Way the Wind Blows" (1989), which was used in the soundtrack for the film Pink Cadillac starring Clint Eastwood and Bernadette Peters. Southern Pacific was named New Country Group of the Year when they debuted and have been honored by having their name added to the Country Music Association’s Walkway of Stars in Nashville, Tennessee.
