Stephen Stills and Manassas - Down The Road (1973)

Down the Road is the second and last studio album by Stephen Stills' band Manassas. It was released in 1973. Chris Hillman's "Lies" and Stephen Stills' "Do You Remember the Americans" are of some worth, but the rest come off sounding like lame attempts at latin blues jams. But a great band working on Manassas leftovers is still a great band making great music.

Down the Road est le deuxième et dernier album studio du groupe de Stephen Stills, Manassas. Il a été édité en 1973. "Lies" de Chris Hillman et "Do You Remember the Americans," de Stephen Stills sont intéressants, mais le reste sonne un peu comme des jams de blues latins. Thoroughfare Gap is a studio album by American singer-songwriter Stephen Stills, released in 1978. Cory Wells - Touch Me (1978)

Cory Wells (born Emil Lewandowski on 5 February 1942, Buffalo, New York) is an American singer, best known as one of the three lead vocalists in the band Three Dog Night.Cory Wells came from a musical family and began playing in Buffalo-area bands in his teens. His father died when Cory was a small child, leaving his mother to struggle financially until she eventually remarried. She gave Cory her maiden last name so not to implicate his natural father, although Cory did eventually change his last name to Wells (which is a shortened version of his birth father’s last name, Wellsley).

A Light Within, Bruce's first album, was released in 1977. This project contained many songs that were recorded by other artists. He was soon signed by Word Records. In 1981 Word released Bruce's second album on the Myrrh label, Never Turnin' Back.

The Larsen/Feiten Band was the melding of two highly regarded session musicians, keyboardist Neil Larsen & guitarist Buzzy Feiten with Willie Weeks on bass, Art Rodriquez on drums and Lenny Castro on percussion. The resulting musical chemistry proved very successful.

Geyster - I Love 1984 (2004)

Geyster was originally a duet formed by Gaël Benyamin and Pernilla Grönlund in 1999. Their first cooperation came in 1998 when they both participated in the MI (Musicians Institute) music school in Los Angeles. Gaël is the lead- singer-songwriter / arranger / producer / multi-instrumentalist and also take care of all the technical stuff (mixing, mastering ...). His songs may sound soft rock and are built with jazz-influenced chords. With a great feeling in the rhythm, the melody is always predominant. Gael knows how to combine the music of the 70's with the sound of today in a unique style. Often labeled as 'Westcoast Music'; Geyster's music is mostly pure pop-music with a wide range of influences, and the mix is always subtle and very pleasant to our ears.

Geyster est à l'origine un duo formé par Gaël Benyamin et Pernilla Grönlund en 1999. Leur première coopération est survenue en 1998 quand ils ont tous deux participé à la MI (Musicians Institute) école de musique à Los Angeles.Gaël est le lead-chanteur-compositeur / arrangeur / producteur / multi-instrumentiste et prend également soin de tous les trucs techniques (mixage, mastering ...). Night Shift is Gael Benyamin & Jerome Beuret. They first met at a concert of Geyster in 2004, Geyster being Gael's pop-dance act. They quickly hooked up and started collaborating together.The initial thought was just to write a couple of songs, but song after song it soon became a whole album.

Night Shift est Gael Benyamin & Jérome Beuret. Ils se sont rencontrés pour la première fois lors d'un concert de Geyster en 2004, Geyster étant l'acte pop-dance de Gaël. Lewis Taylor - Lost Album (2005)

Andrew Lewis Taylor is a British multi-instrumentalist musician, born in London, UK, in the late 1960s. He started in the music business touring with the progrock band Edgar Broughton Band. In 1986 he began performing as Sheriff Jack, releasing two albums of psychedelia music, Laugh Yourself Awake (1986) and What Lovely Melodies! (1987). As Lewis Taylor, he released his first self-titled album in 1996.

Singer, songwriter, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, engineer, director, producer ... Gaël Benyamin wears at least twelve hats at a time, like Stevie Wonder, Stevie Winwood or Prince. Alone in his kitchen, Geyster managed all that Steely Dan put two years to make in the studio: an ideal of pop and sunny sound. Vive la France !

This album is a collection of great, classy songs, mostly penned by Kipner and Graydon. They are sung impeccably and played by the usual suspects of that time - basically the Toto bandmembers plus friends like Victor Feldman on percussion and Michael Omartian on keys. Listen, Steely Dan come to mind.

This album obviously bears the elemental influence of The Band and the overall musical movement of the early seventies which was towards a laid back country folk type of thing. Jeffrey Cain only released this last record for the Raccoon label and then he vanished into the ether.

Cet album porte évidemment l'influence élémentaire de The Band et le mouvement musical global du début des années soixante-dix qui était vers une sorte de folk country décontracté. Jeffrey Cain n'a sorti que ce dernier disque pour le label Raccoon puis il a disparu dans l'éther.

High Treason - High Treason (1969)

The seeds of High Treason started at Temple University in Philadelphia, circa 1967. The eclectic, multi-style musical mix that was to be the band's trademark began to emerge, based around the writing of Edgar Koshatka and the instrumental and vocal contributions of all others musicans. Joe Cleary and various bass players and drummers came and went with regularity (a problem that was to plague the band; there are also more than one-of-each on the album). The instrumental and vocal nucleus of Edgar, Marcie, Saul, and Joe remained constant, however.

Les graines de la haute trahison ont commencé à germer à Temple University, Philadelphie, vers 1967. Excellent 1976 private release, probably custom pressed by the artist Pretty good hard rock with some early proto-metal touches, some southern rock, should appeal to Allman Brothers,fans.

Southern Pacific was an American country rock band that existed from 1983 to 1991. They are best known for hits such as "Any Way the Wind Blows" (1989), which was used in the soundtrack for the film Pink Cadillac starring Clint Eastwood and Bernadette Peters. Southern Pacific was named New Country Group of the Year when they debuted and have been honored by having their name added to the Country Music Association’s Walkway of Stars in Nashville, Tennessee.

Sailin' Shoes is the second studio album by the American rock band Little Feat, released in 1972. Ted Templeman produced “ Sailin' Shoes” marked a shift from the sound of the band's first album, Little Feat, to that of their next album, Dixie Chicken. Little Feat's long, strange musical journey took a satisfying creative leap with Sailin' Shoes — but if not for some passionate interventions by fans of the band at their label, the record might never have been released at all.

This album was originally released in 1977, Scaggs’ 8th album. After the success of “Silk Degrees”, this album holds up his style, seamlessly combining R&B, Blues and Rock & Roll. “Down Two Then Left” has that typical warm 70’s feel and shows Boz Scaggs deserves to be right up there with Stevie Wonder and Barry White.

Marc Jordan - Blue Desert (1979)

With the album Blue Desert (1979) the Canadian composer, singer and guitarist Marc Jordan made a nice shot. This second album, produced by Jay Graydon, is the archetype of west-coast music of the late '70s, a melodic and sunny pop with irreproachable sound. We will retain from this disc the hit "I'm A Camera", the trainers "From Nowhere To This Town" and "Release Yourself", but also the mid-tempos "Generalities", second single of the album, and "Beautiful People "with his irresistible rhythmic west-coast. And the finale is grandiose with the ballad "Exile" which is impressive on the end thanks to beautiful choruses.

Avec l'album Blue Desert (1979) le compositeur, chanteur et guitariste canadien Marc Jordan a réussi un joli coup. Ce deuxième album, produit par Jay Graydon, est l'archétype de la musique west-coast de la fin des années 70, une pop mélodique et ensoleillée au son irréprochable. Richard Torrance - Anything's Possible (1978)

The midwestern musician's career began in sunny Los Angeles in the early 1970s, with Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Little Feat Bill Payne, Dan Fogelberg and members of the Doobie Brothers. He was quickly noticed by an undeniable talent, a certain Leon Russell (who at the time was shooting with Joe Cocker as part of the show "Mad dogs and english men") who hastened to sign on the label that he had just created Shelter Record.

La carrière de ce musicien du Midwest débuta sous le soleil de Los Angeles au début des années 70, au contact de Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Bill Payne du groupe Little Feat, Dan Fogelberg et les membres des Doobie Brothers. Il fût très vite remarqué par un dénicheur incontestable de talents, un certain Leon Russell (qui a l’époque tournait avec Joe Cocker dans le cadre du show « Mad dogs and english men ») qui s’empressa de le faire signer sur le label qu’il venait de créer Shelter Record.

James Walsh Gypsy Band - James Walsh Gypsy Band (1978)

From 1971 to 1973, the band Gypsy leaded by guitarist and singer Enrico Rosenbaum released four albums "Gypsy" (1970), "In the Garden" (1971), "Antithesis" (1972) and "Unlock the Gates" (1973). After the departure of Drummer Bill Lordan who is gone to play with Sly & the Family Stone and there had pursuit a long career with Robin Trower, keyboardist James Walsh continued the band in various incarnations as The James Walsh Gypsy Band.

De 1971 à 1973, le groupe Gypsy dirigé par le guitariste et chanteur Enrico Rosenbaum sort quatre albums "Gypsy" (1970), "In the Garden" (1971), "Antithesis" (1972) et "Unlock the Gates" (1973). Après le départ du batteur Bill Lordan qui est allé jouer avec Sly & the Family Stone et qui a poursuivi une longue carrière avec Robin Trower, le claviériste James Walsh a continué le groupe dans diverses incarnations comme The James Walsh Gypsy Band.
