Le deuxième album du groupe de Philadelphie, formé autour de Todd Rundgren, Stewkey Antoni, Carson Van Osten et Thom Mooney, sort en avril 1969 sur le label SGC. Initialement pensé comme un double LP appelé Fungo Bat, il a été réduit à un simple disque suite à des tensions internes et aux désaccords artistiques, notamment entre Rundgren et Stewkey. Le résultat mélange blues rock, pop sophistiquée et psychédélisme expérimental, avec des morceaux marquants comme Under the Ice et l'épique A Beautiful Song (11 min 15). Malgré des ventes modestes, l’album a bénéficié d’une revalorisation critique après que Rundgren a entamé sa carrière solo, notamment grâce à ses talents de compositeur, arrangeur et producteur.

Though it didn't achieve major commercial success, the album earned retrospective acclaim thanks to Rundgren’s later influence as an artist and producer.
