Originaire de San Francisco, The Travel Agency fut un groupe éphémère actif à la fin des sixties. Produit par James A. Griffin (Bread), leur unique album éponyme sort en décembre 1968 sur Viva Records. Mélange de rock, pop et touches psychédélique, l’album se démarque par son intro mystérieuse (“What’s A Man”), ses guitares fuzz accrocheuses ("Cadillac George") et ses harmonies vocales nostalgiques. Malgré son absence de couverture médiatique, l’album est depuis reconnu comme une curiosité intrigante du rock underground américaine.

Hailing from San Francisco and produced by James A. Griffin, The Travel Agency released their sole self-titled LP in December 1968 on Viva Records. A blend of pop-rock and light psychedelia, the album opens with the haunting "What's A Man," features fuzz-laden tracks like "Cadillac George," and layers in nostalgic vocal harmonies. Although overlooked at the time, it has since earned cult status among underground rock aficionados .
