French duo Nightshift, made up of Gaël Benyamin (Geyster) and Jérôme Beuret (Louis Lake), released their nostalgic soft‑rock debut Full Moon in 2007 via Somekind Records. The album draws deep influence from classic West Coast AOR and Yacht Rock—think Eagles, America, and Donald Fagen—with sophisticated arrangements and mellow harmonies Although mostly underground, Full Moon gained acclaim for its craftsmanship, especially the standout track Ocean Bay, which received radio airplay on RTL’s Les Nocturnes and became a cult favorite among fans of the genre
