McPhee were an Australian psychedelic rock band who released this one LP in their active period. The album includes five cover songs (a wonderful Neil Young's Southern Man) and two original compositions by the band. It's needless to say that they shouldn't have included that many covers in here. Apparently they didn't have enough original material or they just simply wanted to make an album filled almost totally with covers.
Their sound is somewhere between Spooky Tooth for musicality and Jefferson Arplane for singing.

L'album comprend cinq reprises (dont un magnifiqueSouthern Man de Neil Young) et deux compositions originales du groupe. Il est inutile de dire qu'ils n'auraient pas dû inclure autant de reprises ici. Apparemment, ils n'avaient pas assez de matériel original ou bien ils voulaient simplement faire un album rempli presque totalement de reprises.
Leur son se situe quelque part entre Spooky Tooth pour la musicalité et Jefferson Arplane pour le chant.
