Après la dissolution du groupe Country Weather en 1972, le guitariste Greg Douglas a fait équipe avec Brian Kilcourse et Bill Baron et ont formé Mistress pour produire un son très semblable au groupe d'origine. Ils ont alors enregistré quelques chansons mais n'ont pas pu être publié avant 1979...
