Blending folk-rock, soft rock, and country flavors, the record emphasizes melody and harmony, evoking the spirit of early 70s California rock. With laid-back grooves and warm acoustic textures, it draws comparisons to CSNY, America, or the Doobie Brothers. Although overlooked in its time, Find the Sun has since become a hidden gem among collectors of mellow, rootsy rock.
