Dan Modlin and Dave Scott were American singer-songwriters from Kentucky or the Midwest. Inspired by artists like James Taylor, Jim Croce, and Batdorf & Rodney, their music is sincere, tender, and contemplative. Released in 1976 as a private press, The Train Don’t Stop Here Anymore was largely forgotten until collectors brought it back to light in the 2000s. It is now celebrated as a hidden gem of 1970s American folk.
