Formé en 1967 à Londres, T. Rex est un groupe britannique emblématique du mouvement glam rock. Initialement connu sous le nom de Tyrannosaurus Rex, le groupe était dirigé par le charismatique Marc Bolan (chant, guitare). Le duo acoustique, composé de Bolan et du percussionniste Steve Peregrin Took, évolua vers un son plus électrique en 1970, marquant le début de l'ère T. Rex
