Blessed End est un groupe de rock psychédélique originaire de Philadelphie, formé en 1968 par Ken Carson (basse) et Jim Shugarts (guitare) alors qu'ils étaient encore lycéens à Ridley High School. Rejoints par Mike Petrylak (batterie), Doug Teti (chant) et Steve Quinzi (claviers), ils enregistrent en 1971 leur unique album, Movin’ On, dans les studios The New Sound à Springfield, Pennsylvanie. L'album, influencé par The Doors, se distingue par ses claviers envoûtants et la voix profonde de Teti. Auto-produit et tiré à seulement 1000 exemplaires avec des pochettes artisanales, il est aujourd'hui une pièce de collection recherchée. Après le départ de Carson pour la marine, le groupe se dissout progressivement. En 1973, certains membres forment le groupe Free Beer, qui deviendra plus tard Argus. Blessed End se reforme brièvement en 1988 pour promouvoir la réédition de Movin’ On.

Blessed End was a psychedelic rock band from Philadelphia, formed in 1968 by Ken Carson (bass) and Jim Shugarts (guitar) during their high school years at Ridley High School. Joined by Mike Petrylak (drums), Doug Teti (vocals), and Steve Quinzi (keyboards), they recorded their sole album, Movin’ On, in 1971 at The New Sound studios in Springfield, Pennsylvania. The album, influenced by The Doors, features haunting keyboards and Teti's deep vocals. Self-produced and limited to 1000 copies with handmade covers, it has become a sought-after collector's item. Following Carson's departure to join the Navy, the band gradually disbanded. In 1973, some members formed Free Beer, later known as Argus. Blessed End briefly reunited in 1988 to support the reissue of Movin’ On.
