Formé à Los Angeles en 1970, Redeye est un groupe de rock américain qui s'inscrit dans la mouvance folk-rock et soft rock des années 1970. Combinant harmonies vocales soignées et influences country rock, leur style rappelle parfois les Eagles ou Poco. Le groupe est composé de Douglas "Red" Mark (chant, guitare), Dave Hodgkins (guitare, chant), Bill Kirkham (basse, chant) et Bob Bereman (batterie, percussions). Avant de fonder Redeye, Mark était membre du groupe Sunshine Company .

Leur premier album éponyme, sorti en 1970 sur le label Pentagram, mêle harmonies vocales soignées et influences folk, avec des touches de rock psychédélique. Le single "Games" extrait de cet album atteint la 27e place du Billboard Hot 100 en 1971, marquant le sommet de leur carrière commerciale .

Après la sortie de leur deuxième album, One Man's Poison, en 1972, le groupe se sépare, malgré un potentiel évident dans le paysage musical de l'époque .

Their self-titled debut album, released in 1970 on the Pentagram label, features refined vocal harmonies and folk influences, with touches of psychedelic rock. The single "Games" from this album reached No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1971, marking the peak of their commercial success .

After releasing their second album, One Man's Poison, in 1972, the band disbanded, despite showing significant potential in the music scene of the era .
