Formé en 1965 à Birmingham, The Move est un groupe britannique de rock psychédélique mené par Roy Wood. Leur premier album éponyme, Move, est sorti en mars 1968 sur le label Regal Zonophone. L'album présente une fusion de pop psychédélique, de freakbeat et de rock psychédélique, avec des compositions principalement écrites par Roy Wood. Il inclut des singles à succès tels que "Flowers in the Rain" et "Fire Brigade", qui ont contribué à son classement dans le Top 20 des ventes au Royaume-Uni. La pochette de l'album a été conçue par le collectif artistique néerlandais The Fool.

Formed in 1965 in Birmingham, The Move was a British rock band led by Roy Wood. Their debut album, Move, was released in March 1968 on Regal Zonophone Records. The album showcases a blend of psychedelic pop, freakbeat, and psychedelic rock, featuring compositions primarily written by Roy Wood. It includes successful singles like "Flowers in the Rain" and "Fire Brigade," which helped it chart in the UK Top 20. The album's cover art was designed by the Dutch artistic collective The Fool.
