Druid était un groupe de rock progressif anglais formé en 1971 à Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Ils se sont fait connaître en remportant le concours de talents "Melody Maker Rock and Folk" en 1974, ce qui leur a valu un contrat avec EMI. Leur premier album, Toward the Sun, est sorti en juillet 1975, produit par Bob Harris. Leur musique, influencée par Yes et Genesis, est caractérisée par des arrangements symphoniques, des claviers dominants et des voix haut perchées. Le groupe a été actif jusqu'en 1977, enregistrant un deuxième album, Fluid Druid, avant de se séparer.

Druid was an English progressive rock band formed in 1971 in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. They gained attention by winning the 1974 Melody Maker Rock and Folk talent contest, earning a contract with EMI. Their debut album, Toward the Sun, was released in July 1975, produced by Bob Harris. Their music, influenced by Yes and Genesis, features symphonic arrangements, prominent keyboards, and high-pitched vocals. The band remained active until 1977, recording a second album, Fluid Druid, before disbanding.
