Flint est un groupe de rock américain formé en 1977 par trois anciens membres de Grand Funk Railroad : Don Brewer(batterie, chant), Mel Schacher (basse) et Craig Frost (claviers). Le groupe tire son nom de leur ville d'origine, Flint, Michigan. En 1978, ils publient leur unique album éponyme sur le label Columbia Records. Cet album présente un mélange de rock classique, de ballades et de morceaux plus funky. Il se distingue par la participation de Frank Zappa et Todd Rundgren, qui apportent leurs talents respectifs à la guitare sur certains titres. Malgré des collaborations prestigieuses, l'album ne rencontre pas un grand succès commercial, et le groupe se sépare peu après sa sortie.

Flint was an American rock band formed in 1977 by three former members of Grand Funk Railroad: Don Brewer(drums, vocals), Mel Schacher (bass), and Craig Frost (keyboards). The band took its name from their hometown, Flint, Michigan. In 1978, they released their sole self-titled album on Columbia Records. The album features a blend of classic rock, ballads, and funkier tracks. It stands out with guest appearances by Frank Zappa and Todd Rundgren, who contribute guitar work on select songs. Despite these notable collaborations, the album did not achieve significant commercial success, and the band disbanded shortly after its release.
