Formé en 1972 à Londres, Glencoe est un groupe britannique de rock progressif et funk-rock. Issu des cendres du groupe écossais Forever More, Glencoe est composé de John Turnbull (guitare, chant), Norman Watt-Roy (basse, chant), Graham Maitland (claviers, chant) et Stewart Francis (batterie, percussions). Leur premier album éponyme, Glencoe, est sorti la même année sous le label Epic Records. Malgré des performances scéniques remarquées, notamment en première partie de Deep Purple, Argent et Wishbone Ash, le groupe n'a pas rencontré le succès commercial escompté. Après un second album, The Spirit of Glencoe (1973), le groupe se dissout en 1974. Plusieurs membres rejoindront par la suite des formations notables, comme Ian Dury & The Blockheads.

Emerging from the remnants of the Scottish band Forever More, Glencoe comprised John Turnbull (guitar, vocals), Norman Watt-Roy (bass, vocals), Graham Maitland (keyboards, vocals), and Stewart Francis (drums, percussion). Their self-titled debut album, Glencoe, was released the same year under Epic Records. Despite notable live performances, including supporting acts like Deep Purple, Argent, and Wishbone Ash, the band did not achieve significant commercial success. After a second album, The Spirit of Glencoe (1973), the group disbanded in 1974. Several members later joined prominent acts, such as Ian Dury & The Blockheads.
