Michael K. "Mickey" Larson (1947–2004), pianiste et chanteur du Wisconsin, est une figure méconnue mais attachante de la scène country rock américaine indépendante. "Mickey" Larson (1947–2004) was a gifted keyboardist and singer from Wisconsin, active in various local bands before releasing this sole album in 1978. The Mickey Larson Band, recorded at A.S.I. Studio and issued on the obscure Deezul Music label, showcases his fondness for classic honky-tonk, rockabilly, and blues-based country rock.
