Formé en 1965 à Billings, Montana, Frantic est un groupe américain de hard rock psychédélique. Après des débuts prometteurs et plusieurs singles, le groupe s'installe à Los Angeles en 1969. En 1970, ils enregistrent leur unique album, Conception, sur le label Lizard Records. Malgré une production soignée et un style énergique mêlant rock psychédélique et blues, l'album passe inaperçu à sa sortie. Le groupe se dissout en 1971, laissant derrière lui cet unique témoignage de leur talent.

Formed in 1965 in Billings, Montana, Frantic was an American hard psychedelic rock band. After promising beginnings and several singles, the band moved to Los Angeles in 1969. In 1970, they recorded their sole album, Conception, on Lizard Records. Despite polished production and an energetic style blending psychedelic rock and blues, the album went unnoticed upon release. The band disbanded in 1971, leaving behind this sole testament to their talent.
