Shiloh était un groupe américain de country rock formé à la fin des années 1960 au Texas. Le groupe était composé de Don Henley (batterie et chant), Richard Bowden (guitare et chant), Mike Bowden (basse), Jim Ed Norman (claviers) et Al Perkins (guitare électrique et pedal steel). Ils ont enregistré leur unique album éponyme en 1969, produit par Kenny Rogers et sorti en 1970 sur le label Amos Records .
L'album Shiloh comprend dix titres, dont "God Is Where You Find Him", une ballade de près de six minutes écrite par Don Henley, qui clôt l'album sur une note introspective. Shiloh was an American country rock band formed in the late 1960s in Texas. The group consisted of Don Henley (drums and vocals), Richard Bowden (guitar and vocals), Mike Bowden (bass), Jim Ed Norman (keyboards), and Al Perkins(electric guitar and pedal steel). They recorded their sole self-titled album in 1969, produced by Kenny Rogers and released in 1970 on Amos Records .
The album Shiloh features ten tracks, including "God Is Where You Find Him", a nearly six-minute ballad written by Don Henley that closes the album on an introspective note. Other notable songs include "Simple Little Down Home Rock & Roll Love Song For Rosie", "I'm Gone", and "Left My Gal In The Mountains".
Despite the quality of their music, the album did not achieve significant commercial success, leading to the group's dissolution in April 1971. After the breakup, Don Henley joined Linda Ronstadt's band, where he met Glenn Frey.Together, they went on to form the Eagles, one of the most iconic bands in rock history . Al Perkins continued his career by joining the Flying Burrito Brothers, while Jim Ed Norman became a respected producer in the music industry.
