Clancy était un groupe de rock britannique formé à Londres en 1975. Le groupe était composé de musiciens expérimentés et talentueux, chacun apportant une richesse musicale unique. Leur premier album, Seriously Speaking, sorti sous le label Warner Bros. Records, est un parfait exemple du rock de l'époque, avec des influences diverses et un son caractéristique des années 70.
Parmi les membres du groupe, on retrouvait Dave Skinner, un claviériste et chanteur réputé pour ses collaborations avec Bryan Ferry et sa précédente expérience avec Uncle Dog. Ernie Graham, guitariste et chanteur, avait joué avec Eire Apparent et Help Yourself et avait également une carrière solo. Dave Vasco, guitariste et chanteur, apportait également sa touche à l'ensemble.

Clancy was a British rock band formed in London in 1975. The band featured experienced and talented musicians, each bringing a unique musical richness. Their debut album, Seriously Speaking, released under Warner Bros. Records, is a perfect example of the rock sound of the era, with diverse influences and a characteristic '70s vibe.
Among the band members were Dave Skinner, a keyboardist and singer known for his collaborations with Bryan Ferry and his previous work with Uncle Dog. Ernie Graham, guitarist and vocalist, had played with Eire Apparent and Help Yourself and also had a solo career. Dave Vasco, guitarist and singer, also contributed to the group's sound.
Although the band enjoyed some success in live performances, Seriously Speaking did not achieve the commercial success it deserved. In 1976, after the band's dissolution, the members continued their musical careers, with Skinner and Gaspar Lawal working as session musicians, while Graham collaborated with Nick Lowe.
