Blue Jug était un groupe américain de southern rock actif dans les années 1970. Le groupe était composé d'Ed Raetzloff (guitare rythmique, chant), Clint Delong (guitare, chant), Bill Little (claviers, chant), Bill Burnett (basse) et Lanny Boles (batterie). En 1978, ils ont sorti leur deuxième album éponyme, Blue Jug, sous le label Ariola Records.
L'album présente une fusion de country, blues et rock, reflétant l'influence de la musique américaine traditionnelle sur le groupe. Blue Jug was an American southern rock band active in the 1970s. The group consisted of Ed Raetzloff (rhythm guitar, vocals), Clint Delong (guitar, vocals), Bill Little (keyboards, vocals), Bill Burnett (bass), and Lanny Boles (drums). In 1978, they released their second self-titled album, Blue Jug, under the Ariola Records label.
The album showcases a blend of country, blues, and rock, reflecting the band's roots in traditional American music. Tracks include "Memories Are Hard To Come By," "Like A Fool," "Lodi" (a Creedence Clearwater Revival cover), "Kentucky Man," "Cajun Lady," "Shotgun Rider," "Tequila Waltz," "Conchita," "Taste Of The Country," "Child Abuse," and "The Sun Is Gonna Shine Again."
