Hailing from Minneapolis, Crow burst onto the scene in 1969 with their debut album Crow Music on Amaret Records. Fronted by vocalist David Wagner, the band blends blues, soul, garage rock, and psychedelic flourishes, underscored by a dynamic horn section. Fueled by the hit single “Evil Woman (Don’t Play Your Games With Me)”, which cracked the Billboard Hot 100, Crow Music captures the raw, dance-floor spirit of the late ’60s and lays the groundwork for their signature funk-rock sound.
