Brahman est un groupe obscur originaire de Toronto (Canada), qui n’a laissé derrière lui qu’un seul album éponyme sorti en 1971 sur le label canadien London Records. Le groupe évolue dans un style de rock progressif teinté de psychédélisme, de jazz et de blues, avec des arrangements soignés et une instrumentation riche. Brahman was a short-lived band from Toronto, Canada, that released only one self-titled album in 1971 through London Records. Their music lies somewhere between progressive rock, psychedelia, jazz, and blues, featuring rich instrumentation and carefully arranged compositions. Although they never achieved mainstream recognition, Brahmanhas become a prized gem among vinyl collectors and 1970s progressive rock enthusiasts.
The album showcases a wide palette of moods, from energetic jams to introspective moments, with refined guitar work, prominent organ lines, and a tight rhythm section. The music reflects true artistic ambition while maintaining balance and avoiding unnecessary extravagance.
