Andwellas Dream est un groupe nord-irlandais de rock psychédélique formé en 1968 à Belfast sous le nom de The Method. Le trio est composé de Dave Lewis (chant, guitare, claviers), Nigel Smith (basse, chant) et Gordon Barton (batterie). Après leur déménagement à Londres, ils adoptent le nom Andwellas Dream et enregistrent leur unique album, Love and Poetry, en 1968, qui sort en août 1969 sur le label CBS.
L'album, entièrement composé par Dave Lewis avant ses 18 ans, est un mélange éclectique de rock psychédélique, de folk, de jazz et de rock progressif, caractérisé par des arrangements complexes et une instrumentation variée . Bien qu'il n'ait pas rencontré de succès commercial à sa sortie, Love and Poetry est aujourd'hui considéré comme un classique culte du rock psychédélique britannique des années 60 .
Après cet album, le groupe change de nom pour Andwella et sort deux autres albums : World's End (1970) et People's People (1971), avant de se séparer en 1972 .

Andwellas Dream was a Northern Irish psychedelic rock band formed in 1968 in Belfast under the name The Method.The trio consisted of Dave Lewis (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Nigel Smith (bass, vocals), and Gordon Barton (drums).After moving to London, they adopted the name Andwellas Dream and recorded their sole album, Love and Poetry, in 1968, which was released in August 1969 on the CBS label.
The album, entirely composed by Dave Lewis before his 18th birthday, is an eclectic blend of psychedelic rock, folk, jazz, and progressive rock, characterized by complex arrangements and diverse instrumentation . Although it did not achieve commercial success upon release, Love and Poetry is now regarded as a cult classic of 1960s British psychedelic rock.
Following this album, the band changed its name to Andwella and released two more albums: World's End (1970) and People's People (1971), before disbanding in 1972 .
