🇫🇷 Biographie
🇬🇧 Biography
Released in 1969 by the small Metromedia Records label, One was a short-lived American psychedelic band whose sole self-titled LP has since gained cult status. Blending West Coast psych, baroque pop, and garage rock, the album features dreamy atmospheres, fuzzy guitars, and swirling organ textures. The haunting, almost androgynous vocals and eclectic arrangements give the record a distinctive flair, reminiscent of HP Lovecraft, The United States of America, or Common People. A hidden gem of late '60s psychedelic rock.
