Lost and Found est un groupe texan éphémère issu de la scène psychédélique de Houston, lié au collectif International Artists, célèbre pour avoir produit The 13th Floor Elevators. Publié en 1968, leur unique album Forever Lasting Plastic Words est un condensé de garage psychédélique typique de cette époque : guitares fuzz, claviers tournoyants, voix réverbérées et textes hallucinés. L’album brille par son charme brut et sa sincérité, bien qu’il ne bénéficie pas de la reconnaissance de ses contemporains. Il reste pourtant un témoignage précieux du son underground texan de la fin des sixties.

Lost and Found was a short-lived psychedelic garage band from Houston, Texas, affiliated with the legendary International Artists label (home to the 13th Floor Elevators). Their only album, Forever Lasting Plastic Words, released in 1968, offers a raw, lo-fi blend of fuzz guitars, swirling organ, echo-laden vocals, and trippy lyrics. Though they never gained widespread attention, the album is a vivid snapshot of the late-60s Texas psych scene and has since become a cult favorite among collectors of American underground rock.
