The Shadows of Knight est un groupe américain de garage rock originaire de Chicago, fondé en 1965. Leur musique fusionne blues brut, rock psychédélique et énergie proto-punk. Leur plus grand succès reste la reprise explosive de "Gloria" de Them, qui les propulse sur la scène nationale en 1966. En 1969, après des changements de personnel et une orientation plus hard rock, le groupe publie Shadows of Knight sur le label Team Records. The Shadows of Knight are a Chicago-based American garage rock band formed in 1965. Known for blending gritty blues influences with raw rock'n'roll energy, they achieved fame with their 1966 hit cover of Them's "Gloria." By 1969, the group had undergone lineup changes and embraced a heavier, more psychedelic sound. Their self-titled album Shadows of Knight (1969), released on Team Records, captures the late-60s rock evolution with hard-hitting tracks and a raw edge that remains true to their garage roots.
