Composed of brothers Zachary and Andrew Gabbard and Joseph Sebaali, Buffalo Killers are among their fans Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. It must be said that the first two discs of the exciting trio deserved the welcome lighting. After passing the test with flying colors from the second album Let It Ride, impatiently expected to listen redelivery of the group, a third album that we hoped was that of confirmation. The change is radical this time. Apart from a few reminiscences (some discrete projections as guitars on "Huma Bird") we are far from blues rock beginnings. Between pop and Americana, the band released its most peaceful album to date but also probably the most control. Between Big Star and Buffalo Springfield for the pop side but especially Neil Young for the look americana, this new album is a delight for the ears.

Après avoir passé avec brio le test du deuxième album Let It Ride, on attendait impatiemment de pouvoir écouter la nouvelle livraison du groupe, un troisième album que l'on espérait être celui de la confirmation. Le changement est cette fois-ci radical. Mis à part quelques réminiscences (quelques saillies discrètes de guitares comme sur "Huma Bird") on est très loin du blues rock des débuts. Entre pop et americana, le groupe a sorti son album le plus apaisé à ce jour mais aussi sans doute le plus maîtrisé. Entre Big Star et Buffalo Springfield pour le côté pop mais surtout Neil Young pour l'aspect americana, ce nouvel album est un ravissement pour les oreilles.
