Egg - Egg (1970)

Dave Stewart (not to be confused with Dave A. Stewart Eurythmics) is an eminence of the Canterbury scene. In 1967, he formed with his school friend Steve Hillage Uriel group, which takes its name from Egg after the departure of Hillage. Less spectacular Emerson, Lake And Palmer, the group is quite the same caliber, but not really necessary. Stewart will, shortly after, the keyboard of two other historic groups: Hatfield and the North and National Health.

Dave Stewart (à ne pas confondre avec Dave A. Stewart d'Eurythmics) est une éminence de la "scène de Canterbury". En 1967, il forme avec son copain d'école Steve Hillage le groupe Uriel, qui prend le nom de Egg après le départ d'Hillage. Moins spectaculaire qu'Emerson, Lake And Palmer, le groupe est tout à fait du même calibre, mais ne s'impose pas vraiment. Stewart sera, peu de temps après, le clavier de deux autres groupes historiques : Hatfield and the North et National Health.
