Fever Tree - Fever Tree (1968)

This band formed in Houston, Texas, in 1966, moved to San Francisco, which led to believe that the group was from the bay. Originally called Vine Bostwick he quickly changed their name to Fever Tree. Their music is a mixture of rock, pop, and psychedelia, they had a single top 100 with the title 'San Francisco Girls', which imposed them as a group from the West Coast.
The voice of John Keller is not unlike that of John Kay of Steppenwolf.

Ce groupe formé à Houston au Texas, en 1966, s'installe à San Francisco, ce qui a conduit à croire que le groupe était originaire de la baie. D'abord appelé Bostwick Vine il change rapidement leur nom pour Fever Tree. Leur musique est un mélange de rock, pop, et psychédélisme, ils ont eu un unique top 100 avec le titre 'San Francisco Girls', ce qui les a imposés comme un groupe de la côte ouest.

La voix de John Keller n'est pas sans rappeler celle de John Kay de Steppenwolf.
