In 1977, after several years of separation, the trio Crosby, Stills & Nash brings us a gem. Stills had Manassas, Crosby and Nash had engaged in personal projects with varying degrees of success. CSN is, and only the second LP of this training three mythical. But what an album! A gem, do not mince words. CSN is packed with wonderful songs for a disc of great musical quality. The acoustic and electric mix is ​​tasty. This is truly a marvel of folk-rock LP in which everyone has his share. Crosby stake of his compositions: 'Shadow Captain' (co-signing with Craig Doerge), the title starts from the album, 'Anything At All' and 'In My Dreams'. Stills gives us his magnificent 'Dark Star', 'Fair Game', the superb acoustics as what 'See The Changes', 'Run From tears' and the final song 'I Give You Give Blind'. Nash is not standing still and brings a sublime to the building with CSN 'Cathedral' (a title that I consider one of the greatest ever heard), 'Carried Away', 'Cold Rain' and the huge ' Just A Song Before I Go '. Softness, calm, vocal harmonies unlike any other, hushed folk ambiance, variety ... and certainly, this disc enhanced by the presence of a prestigious line-up is to be counted among the best productions of the time.

En 1977, après quelques années de séparation, le trio Crosby, Stills & Nash nous livre ici un bijou.  Stills avait Manassas, Crosby et Nash s'étaient lancés dans des projets personnels avec plus ou moins de succès. CSN est donc, et seulement, le deuxième LP de cette formation à trois mythique. Mais quel album ! Un petit bijou, n'ayons pas peur des mots. CSN est un concentré de chansons merveilleuses pour un disque d'une grande qualité musicale. Le mélange acoustique et électrique est savoureux. C'est vraiment une merveille de LP folk-rock dans lequel chacun y va de son écot. Crosby y va de ses compositions : 'Shadow Captain' (en co-signature avec Craig Doerge), le titre d'entame de l'album, 'Anything At All' et 'In My Dreams'. Stills nous livre ses magnifiques 'Dark Star', 'Fair Game', le superbe titre acoustique qu'est 'See The Changes', 'Run From tears' et le morceau final 'I Give You Give Blind'. Nash n'est pas en reste et apporte une sublime pierre à l'édifice CSN avec 'Cathedral' (un titre que je considère comme un des plus grands jamais entendus), 'Carried Away', 'Cold Rain' et l'énorme 'Just A Song Before I Go'. Douceur, calme, harmonies vocales à nulles autres pareilles, ambiance folk feutrée, variété...sans conteste, ce disque, rehaussé par la présence d'un line-up prestigieux est à ranger parmi les meilleures productions de l'époque.
