The Moving Sidewalks - Flash (1968)

Flash is the only LP released in 1968 by the Moving Sidewalks, rock scene the group Texan of the second part of the 1960s. producer of the composition alone, Steve Ames, the inaugural 'Flashback' (Steve Ames) is primarily a psyche-rock song absolutely in the canons of the time, but halfway, it becomes surprisingly in hindouisante ballad with guitar-sitar and tablas battery. Composition keyboardist Tom Moore, 'Da Scoun Be' offers rock-pop psyche more groovy but also a heavier coat. 'You Make Me Shake' up the tempo and offers Bill Gibbons who composed during a solo which he had already noticed the secret by Jimi Hendrix. 'You Do not Know The Life' is a quiet ballad with organ of its composer forward. 'Pluto - Sept. 31st is a composition signed Gibbons / Ames inspired' Purple Haze 'and' Foxey Lady 'of the JHE. Again in the psyche-rock vein uptempo '99th Floor' offers a thunderous solo harmonica from Bill Gibbons. 'What Are You Doing To Do' is a good time to jerk. 'No Good To Cry', cover of a song by Al Anderson, is a painful pop ballad, with breakbeat and organ, in a snapshot of the time. With Crimson Witch 'Bill Gibbons returns to the field psyche-rock, heavy-psych limit, but apparently difficult to gather his thoughts. 'Need Me' is a heavy type of psyche-rock single signed Billy Gibbons and the concluding 'Every Night A New Surprise' (from the pen of Steve Ames) sounds like psychedelic rock kit.

Avec 'Crimson Witch' Bill Gibbons revient sur le terrain psyché-rock, limite heavy-psych, mais peine apparemment à rassembler ses idées. 'Need Me' est un single psyché-rock de type heavy signé Billy Gibbons et le conclusif 'Every Night A New Surprise' (dû à la plume de Steve Ames) sonne comme du rock psychédélique en kit.
