Bubble Puppy est un groupe de rock psychédélique texan initialement actif de 1966 à 1969. Ils sont connus surtout pour leur hit du Top 20  'Hot Smoke & Sasafrass'. En 1969, Bubble Puppy a sorti son premier album complet A Gathering of Promises, dont la couleur musicale rappelle les Byrds ou encore Buffalo Springfield. Cependant, malgré les premiers succès de Bubble Puppy à la suite de leur hit, ils ont vite connu de nombreux conflits avec des artistes internationaux et finirent par se séparer en 1970.

Bubble Puppy is a Texan psychedelic rock band initially active from 1966 to 1969. They are known mainly for their Top 20 hit 'Hot Smoke & Sasafrass'. In 1969, Bubble Puppy released their first full album A Gathering of Promises, whose musical color recalls the Byrds or Buffalo Springfield. Despite the early success of Bubble Puppy as a result of their hit, they soon had many conflicts with international artists and finally separated in 1970.
