Ramases, real name Mike d’Abo, is a British singer and musician best known as a former member of the band Manfred Mann. In 1971, he released his only solo album, Space Hymns, a unique and mystical project blending psychedelic rock, folk, and Eastern influences. The album, often regarded as a cult classic, explores spiritual and cosmic themes with rich arrangements and diverse instrumentation, including brass and ethereal choirs. Produced by David Bowie and Mick Ronson, Space Hymns is an intriguing and deeply original atmospheric work.
