Coast Road Drive est un groupe britannique éphémère actif au début des années 70. Le trio, formé de musiciens venus de formations psyché et prog comme Methuselah, Quintessence ou Judas Jump, a enregistré Delicious And Refreshing. Sorti en 1974 sur le label Decca/Deram, l’album mêle rock rural à la Doobie Brothers, racines anglaises, et accents soul-blues. D’abord ignoré, il a été réédité en 2014 par le label Prog Temple, bénéficiant d’un remasterage et de liner notes retraçant l’histoire de ce groupe méconnu

🇬🇧 Biography (English)

Coast Road Drive was a short-lived British band emerging in the early 1970s with a lineup drawing from psychedelic/prog acts like Methuselah and Quintessence. Their sole LP, Delicious And Refreshing, dropped in 1974 via Deram (a Decca subsidiary) and blends rural rock with Doobie Brothers–style harmonies, British roots sensibilities, and a touch of soul-blues. Though overlooked originally, the album received a 2014 reissue by Prog Temple, complete with remastered audio and insightful liner notes .
