Bop Till You Drop est le huitième album studio de Ry Cooder, sorti en juillet 1979. Il s'agit du premier album majeur enregistré numériquement, utilisant une machine 32 pistes développée par 3M. Cet album se distingue par ses reprises de classiques du rhythm and blues et du rock'n'roll des années 1950, dont "Little Sister" d'Elvis Presley et "Don't Mess Up a Good Thing" de Fontella Bass. Le morceau "Down in Hollywood" est la seule composition originale de l'album. L'album a été bien accueilli par la critique et a atteint la 7e place des classements australiens.

Bop Till You Drop is Ry Cooder's eighth studio album, released in July 1979. It is the first major-label album in popular music to be recorded digitally, using a 32-track machine developed by 3M. The album features covers of classic 1950s rhythm and blues and rock and roll tracks, including Elvis Presley's "Little Sister" and Fontella Bass's "Don't Mess Up a Good Thing." "Down in Hollywood" is the album's only original composition. The album received positive reviews and peaked at number 7 on the Australian charts.
