Sorti le 10 août 2004, Crosby & Nash marque le retour en studio du duo après 28 ans d'absence depuis Whistling Down the Wire (1976). Enregistré en un mois entre janvier et février 2004 à Burbank (Californie) et Kauai (Hawaï), cet album double est le dernier enregistrement studio original du duo, ainsi que de toute configuration de Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Il se distingue par des harmonies vocales emblématiques et des compositions introspectives, abordant des thèmes personnels et sociaux. La chanson "Michael (Hedges Here)" rend hommage au guitariste Michael Hedges, décédé en 1997.

Released on August 10, 2004, Crosby & Nash marked the duo's return to the studio after a 28-year hiatus since Whistling Down the Wire (1976). Recorded over a month between January and February 2004 in Burbank, California, and Kauai, Hawaii, this double album stands as the final original studio recording by the duo, as well as any configuration of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. It features their signature vocal harmonies and introspective compositions, addressing personal and social themes. The song "Michael (Hedges Here)" is a tribute to guitarist Michael Hedges, who passed away in 1997.
