Sorti le 26 octobre 1999, Looking Forward est le troisième album studio de Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY), et leur dernier enregistrement en studio à ce jour. Initialement conçu comme un projet de Crosby, Stills & Nash, l'album a pris une nouvelle dimension avec l'implication de Neil Young, qui a apporté plusieurs compositions prévues pour son propre album solo. L'album a été enregistré entre 1996 et 1999 dans divers studios en Californie, notamment au ranch de Neil Young, Broken Arrow Ranch. Bien que l'album ait reçu un accueil critique mitigé, il a marqué un retour significatif du quatuor sur la scène musicale, culminant avec une tournée en 2000.

Released on October 26, 1999, Looking Forward is the third studio album by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY), and their final studio recording to date. Initially conceived as a Crosby, Stills & Nash project, the album took a new turn with Neil Young's involvement, who contributed several compositions originally intended for his solo work. The album was recorded between 1996 and 1999 at various studios in California, including Neil Young's Broken Arrow Ranch. Although the album received mixed critical reviews, it marked a significant return of the quartet to the music scene, culminating in a tour in 2000.
